Report It tool

🌍 What is it?
The Report It tool is Staffordshire County Council’s online service that lets you quickly flag problems on local roads and pavements. It’s designed to make reporting issues simple, transparent, and easy for everyone.

🛠️ What you can report
• Potholes or damaged road surfaces
• Broken streetlights or traffic signs
• Blocked drains or flooding
• Overgrown trees or bushes affecting visibility
• General road safety concerns

📲 How it works
• Go online: Use the council’s website to submit a report.
• Create an account: Optional, but lets you track progress and get updates.
• Whole‑road option: Instead of reporting one pothole, you can highlight the condition of an entire street.
• Emergency issues: Dangerous problems (like fallen trees) should still be phoned in directly (0300 111 8000).

Civic Amenity Visits 2026

28 March 2026

7 November 2026

More information to follow.

Please be aware that, due to a change in legislation last year, Stafford Borough Council no longer accept sofas or armchairs at the Civic Amenity Visits.  This is due to legislation around Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) which are found in soft furnishings, these items cannot be crushed (as they would be in the collection vehicle) and need to be collected separately either by arrangement with Stafford Borough Council or taken to designated containers at the Household Waste Recycling Centres in Stafford and Stone
