Phil Mason
I was born and raised on the Surrey/Kent border, leaving Fairchilds High School to attend Hadlow College of Agriculture, Tonbridge on a farm management course. In 1976 I changed career direction into the onshore (UK & Europe) oil and gas industry where I worked, firstly on the drilling side up to Drilling Supervisor, managing a number of oil and gas exploration drilling rigs. I then progressed to a Planning and Land Management role within the same industry, which resulted in me forming my own successful company from 1990 to date.
I have lived in Woodseaves since 1982, when my wife and I moved into our cottage, which has required an enormous amount of DIY and still does! Both our sons, now in their 20’s, were born and grew up in the village and have fond memories of their childhood, enjoying all that our home and surrounding countryside has to offer.
My interests include DIY (fortunately), gardening, fishing, clay shooting, travel, football, classic cars, F1, caravanning and walking.
