Mark Turvey
I was born in Slough, educated at Langley Grammar School and Reading college of Technology where I studied electrical and electronic engineering. I completed a three year apprenticeship with Post Office Telecoms, later to become BT and worked in Slough telephone exchange before moving to Stone to take up a role as an Engineering Instructor at the BT training Centre. After twenty-five years with BT I transferred to a Management Consultancy carrying out various roles before leaving as Associate Director of Accenture Workplace Services.
I have lived in Woodseaves since 1986 and I am married with two grown up children who were born in Woodseaves and completed their early education here. My interests include DIY, walking, caravanning, playing football and motorcycling. I have previously been a committee member for Woodseaves Scouts and spent over thirteen years as Treasurer and Chairman of Woodseaves Football Club.
I am a regular visitor to the village pub.
