Emma Halls (Chair)
Born and brought up in Aberystwyth, I left Wales to study at the University of Sussex and in the United States. I started work in the telecommunications industry in 1996 and have now been with Vodafone for twenty years, where I love the dynamic and innovative environment.
I moved to Haughton in 2004 and lived briefly in Gnosall, before moving to Woodseaves in 2013. We chose Woodseaves for the wonderful school, beautiful scenery, and strong sense of community, providing an ideal environment to bring up our children.
Ade and I have six children, with the youngest three still at home with us. One of our sons has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair, so we understand the challenges that living with disability can bring. We also operate a small business based in the village.
I am passionate about literacy in schools and am a volunteer reader at Woodseaves Academy. I am very pleased to now be able to contribute to my community in a wider sense, drawing on my skills and experiences to do so.
